I know that if clothes are made for one body mod it will essentially convert the character wearing it to whatever body it was made for (at least I think that's right), but judging compatibility is still tough for me. All the body replacers seem to say that they are based on UNP, and all the the clothing/armor mods seem to say that they are for the UNP body, but they also replace the existing body. Here is an example from an new mod 'The mod is meant for UNP. (will work with seraphim but you wont have the body of it)' So if Seraphim is based on the UNP body why will a mod that is made for UNP alter a character wearing those clothes?

Dimon99's uploaded by Ashara seems to say it is based on UNP, and I used Fluffin's UNP Female Vanilla Armor Refitted it seemed to conform to the body replacer, but Fluffin later posted 3 variations on UNP (UNPretended?) and for at least one Fluffin stated that a new vannilla refit mod would need to be made to fit it. I am just confused and I have a feeling it is because I don't know anything about making a body replacer.
